Room humidifers, any good?
Discussion
I suffer from really bad sinusitus, probably spending a good 4 - 5 months of the year with a blocked nose, often heavily blocked where it puts pressure on my head and teeth, and is tough to live with.
Ive read about room humidifers, and that they could help, especially over Winter when the heating is on and doors/windows generally shut.
Has anyone used one? Ive read you need to keep them clean, and also they can cause bacteria or dust mites to increase, so Im trying to work out whether the potential downsides are worth the potential updsides.
Anyone using one? I have read they are good for kids colds too, which ours often have !! (like most kids).
Not sure what to look for or even what price bracket to look at for a good general room humifier, typically for the lounge/bedroom (so quiet would be good too) with room sizes no more than about 18ft by 12ft.
Cheers
