Had a gym accident :)
Discussion
So was just finishing up with sit ups on one of these:

The bit that holds your feet in snapped/came off some how, none of the instructors are sure so I fell to the ground which was quite amusing until the bit that snapped off hit my face.
Plenty of blood spurted out and I thought I had lost my eye but thankfully I haven't
So heres a few pics from accident to getting fixed

At least im sorted for halloween
Edit: you can't see in pics but It went through my nose which healed on the way to hospital

Ouch! On the bright side. . . certainly improve your looks!
Is that honestly the design of the machine. . .REALLY?!! That has to be the worst design ever. So many questions
How do you get on it?
How do you get off it?
When you're on it, what is supporting your back?
What happens if your butt slips off the seat if you're fairly vertical?
Sue the manufacturer. . .& the gym!!

Yep, that injury should be worth a few grand! Merry Christmas!
Absolutely.
You'll have that scar for the rest of your life and if any important facial muscle has been cut you'll have a struggle fixing it.
Sue,get some money, put it in the bank until you get to your thirties and decide you want plastic surgery.

The one at my gym has a platform on it to get on, nothing supports your back so more of an ab workout. The feet bit keeps you in if you look

I think facial muscle is okay so far You'll have that scar for the rest of your life and if any important facial muscle has been cut you'll have a struggle fixing it.

As for the money me and the fiance were looking to buy a place so will be a big help!

I would suggest if you are going to sue, then stop posting here.
Your last post with a smilie, may well not be beneficial to your case as it suggests ... "you're looking forward to financial reward" rather than "depressed due to facial scarring"
Ah okay didnt realise it came out like that or it would affect me.Your last post with a smilie, may well not be beneficial to your case as it suggests ... "you're looking forward to financial reward" rather than "depressed due to facial scarring"
I didnt even think I could sue tbh but I am concerned about the facial scarring. In my job I need to look approachable not like a mug.
