Spitting sutures

So, I had some surgery 6 weeks ago. Left with a fairly long long incision site. Ave internal dissolvable stitches that appear to be working their way through my body an out to underneath my scar tissue..
It hurts.
If they break through should I leave then or pull them out?

Thats normal. I had something similar. But i would suggest you check with your GP or the hospital where u had the surgery. Better safe than sorry.

I pulled mine out - the scar had healed and then broke apart at one end with something prickly pointing out. (Abdominal scar for spinal fusion). I just pulled it out at that point!

Not sure about yours as I'm not a doctor (obviously) !
