Iv'e got an itch - anything to worry about?
Discussion
Odd one this but as per title, for about the last 4 weeks I've had this itch.... an all over body itch, particularly neck, armpits, stomach, thighs and ankles!
It's accompanied in all these places by a rash too.
Initially we thought "allegeric reaction" to something still not ruled that out but not, so popped the anti-histermine and it seemed to control it.
During that time we made sure that we hadn't changed any washing powders, fabric softeners, deodorants, shampoo and conditioners or if we had that we changed back to "pre-itch" brands/variants.
We also tried to wash all clothing and bedclothes in pre-itch stuff.
But the anti-histermines ran out yesterday and the itch with rash has come back with avengance!!
So, might it be anything to speak to a doctor about or is it a case of mtfu and take some more anti-h?

It is possible to spontaneously develop an allergy to a substance you've had no problems with previously. Happened to me about 20 years ago.
Process of elimination is probably going to be the best method (a pain I know) unless the allergy clinics testing system has improved in the last couple of decades.
