Had a bit of a disagreement with a job at work and it left me with a scratch on the hand.
9 months on its still quite red looking.
Will it get any better?

yup, but probably pretty slowly from here on. Take a few comparison photos now and then. I'm aware of the existence of various make-scars-heal-better stuff at least some of which seems to have a reasonably good reputation, I'd guess that you might want to start by asking your pharmacist about that if you were thinking about trying it.

No hand model plans but I'm getting a little low on stories of how I did it when folks see red scars. If it will fade that's great.
There's no shortage of cuts and wounds on my line of work but that was quite a good one.

And why is it the wife always go mental when you injure yourself?

Yes, it should gradually fade.

Bio oil may help to speed the process.

Don't worry about what other people say, and I'm sure you didn't want it to happen, it's fine don't worry, others will have worse scars that bring back unwanted memories. smile I work in construction and have seen similar.

Bio oil may help reducing scar tissue redness although probably best started once wound has healed. Nothing to stop you giving it go though.
