Bunion removal

I think I am going to have to bite the bullet and have surgery to have a bunion removed. I have been putting it off and living with the pain caused by wearing almost any footwear now. It seems that the recovery process is disproportionate to the simplicity of the operation.

Anyone had any experience of it?
