Medial Collateral Ligament damage?

Not me, the wife She's seeing a specialist on Wednesday as it's currently too swollen/painfull to fully diagnose yet, she's currently on crutches and unable to put any weight on that leg. Anyone got any previous experience with regards to rehab, etc? I appreciate everyone/extent of injury is different but any comments would be gratefully received!

If it is an MCL injury, and you need a specialist to diagnose, then in very very brief terms:

Grade 1 and 2, heal in 6 weeks usually with a brace
Grade 3, occasionally need an operation.

a proper look at the knee is what's needed
