Fish oil/Omega 3 oils...
Discussion
Why take supplements? Have you any idea just how tasty stuff like smoked Mackerel or smoked Salmon is?! Damn even the smell of this stuff can make you drool bricks. One portion of these easily have your RDA of Omega-3 EPA/DHA, 6 and 9. These are the oils you need for joints (and muscles, nerves, brain)
Google "Omega-3 sources". Some of the richest tastiest food in the world is rich in Omega-3. It's rich and tasty for a reason. Mostly oily fish, but nuts, seeds, eggs, rich oils and even some spreads these days, can be high in it.
The consistent and inevitable advantage of sourcing vitamins and minerals from a natural diet is that your digestive system will become better at breaking it down and extracting it.
Popping a pill teaches your digestive system the square root of FA. So while you may swallow the pill, you're more likely to p00 most of it out as well... but then, like the pill culture cares. They just want the fool and his cash to be easily parted...
(btw Flaxseed is the king. Any serious bodybuilder eats plenty of this. Just sprinkle a tablespoon or two on your cereal and job done).
Save the popping pills for the people who want to die asap.

I take a fish oil from H&B which I do notice as I had Oscar Schlatters as a kid which has definitely affected my knees as I grew into an adult. However I’ve heard very good things about Orange Triad. You’ll have to look into it yourself as it’s not really a cheap multivitamin but it does have good complexes (including joint) and is geared towards athletes.

Sorry, didn't realise you actually had an inflammation problem. You just said you wanted something for your joints.
Cod liver oil is number 1, but I've seen research lately that it only alleviates symptoms and stops things getting worse, but doesn't actually make anything better.
Vitamin C, D, E and Omega-3 (EFA) are worth noting as your natural anti-inflammatory substances. You could be deficient in some or all.
You must also consider many foods, mainly the low quality types (hydrogenated fats, trans fats, saturated fats etc.) increase inflammation.

I've been suffering with inflamed joints for almost 5 years. Been taking anti inflammatory tablets (Meloxicam) for 4 years. They only take the edge off pain.
At christmas I don't know what happened but my joints were the worst they have ever been. For almost 2 days I couldn't leave my bed or the sofa.
I went to the doctors and he put me on Diclofenac combined with Amitriptolene to help me sleep. I'm ok at the moment but what concerns me is I can only be on these for 6 months max as Diclofenac can cause heart failure.
So now I'm desperately trying to research natural anti inflammatory remides to try and help me out before I have to stop taking the Diclofenac.
