When your trousers feel tight, stop eating. Don't buy bigger trousers.

I'm ordered to be more constructive

1) is good, but it's not as simple as that. It helps, but if you want to rip thousands off with a nice franchise, have a gander and weight-watchers. Basically, allow people to remain addicted to crap (primarily sugar) by allowing the sugar addiction to tick over in small portions. Offer simple rewards. Let them think they're getting somewhere. Let the quit when done. Then the sugar addiction that has been festering away resurfaces. They serve it. They gain weight. They return to what appeared to work - weight-watchers. Ho-hum.

2) While this might seem like a sound idea, if you eat high calorie/high density (or rather lots of calories in a small physical volume like chocolate, cake, burger, ice cream, biscuit, cracker etc. otherwise known as "junk" food) then you will empty quick, meaning your calories consumed per hour is very high, making you feel hungry in rapid succession. Your digestive system expects slow return of calories consumed to calories converted, not a fast return that is available today.

3) doesn't work because of 2). Your digestive system is designed around a world where calories are hard to come by and hard to extract. This takes time and energy for food to digest. Sadly today, food often comes in packages of high density with lots of calories (what I call "calorific"). The means it's easy to digest and the energy:effort return is very high. i.e. By the time you feel full, it's too late, you've already eaten too much.

4) sound, but with today's calorific intake from 2) and 3), if you ate like food was freely available (which it is), instead of burning 2,000kcals a day, you're looking to burn 5,000kcals. That's so much exercise you would simply wouldn't have time for all the exercise you would need to burn it all off. You would eventually get to the point that there isn't enough time in the day for 1), 2), 3) to be catered for.
