Currently using the usn pure protein igf-1, stats are as follows:

Amount Per Serving:

Total Calories: 203
Protein: 40g
Total Carbohydrates: 2.24g
-Sugars: 1.2g
-Dietary Fiber: 2g
Fat: 2.3g

Any recommendations for something similar? at the price it's hard to beat, low carbs, which is good. just the flavours are getting a bit monotonous, od'ed on vanilla and alternating between strawberry and chocolate at the moment, but a change would be nice.

not wanting to bulk up massively, just post workout and keeping weight on.

thanks

I like Total Protein as is has a mix of whey, milk and casein. It's a little sweet (artificial sweeteners) so i tend to get half/half chocolate/unflavoured and mix it together.

I get post workout carbs from food - fruit, vegetables etc - carbs are so easy to get from a normal diet there is no point supplementing/consuming refined sugar

Any thoughts on pea vs whey? Pea often seems pretty cheap thinking of giving it a whirl.

Pea is vile, and (bro science warning) contains an incomplete amino acid profile

Whirl -> hurl

Word of advise.
Do not buy myprotein lemon cheesecake, it's the worst flavour in the world.

Apologies for my semi-literate response earlier in this thread.... stupid ipad!!

I use True Whey and tend to alternate between mint-choc and choc-orange. I've tried a variety of different brands but I find myprotein the best- decent value, reliable delivery, doesn't make me sprint to the toilet! biggrin
