Contact Lenses online
Discussion
I have, can't remember who it was, but the lenses were different. I was convinced they were not right and submitted several sets to the manufacturer to test, and they confirmed they were genuine, but may have been made for a different country. ( Apparently they are slightly different in other countries? )
For the sake of a couple of quid, I prefer to go to my local optician.

I'd go with a high street jobby tbh. They are your only eyes and for the sake of a few quid it isn't worth the risk.
Asda opticians do a branded lense for £12/3 which is pretty cheap (I'd tell you what they are but I'm in bed) for example (and I don't have to drive into town. However you do have to go into asda)

I get my eye test/check done in vision express and order my contacts online.
I have also bought my most recent pair of glasses online which required me to submit a picture of myself with a ruler across my forehead.
Saved me a few £100 though and I maxed out the lens thinness (despite not mental prescription) so well worth it.
I save loads by buying contacts online, I'll go and find who I've used. Never had any problems, just go for eye tests when I think I need it or when it has been some time and it'd be sensible to.

I've bought from:
http://lensplanet.com/
http://www.lenstore.co.uk/
and
http://www.feelgoodcontacts.com/
Depending on who were the cheapest.

What risk???? The same lenses online are cheaper than in the store, your eyes wont fall out if the lens comes by post rather than being picked up in a shop!Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
