Frozen bulk tilapia source, protein source

Wasn't sure whether this was food & drink or health matters, but I need a healthy replacement for chicken and tuna. Anyone know where to get like a massive bag of frozen (not from china) tilapia? I've had it from waitrose and like the taste but it seems a rip off for what is a farmed fish.

Tried whey instead? doesn't answer your question but it'll be more convenient, more variety and it'll be healthier.

Why not from China? - most of it will be farmed in the far east. I think Thailand is a popular source.

Waitrose stuff comes from Zimbabwe - can't see why you'd think it acceptable to buy from there but not from China.

Contaminant issues with some countries not having regulations on feed, I was told by someone at the gym.

That's outdated, and I suspect Waitrose only played with local fish for a short time.

They currently source from Zimbabwe and are fairly proud of the provenance of their source.
