Hearing Issues

Hi All,

I was exposed to a VERY loud banging noise last night, and ever since have had very little hearing and just a ringing in one ear.

I expected it to have sorted itself out overnight, but it's just as bad this morning.

I'll be getting an app at the docs, but it probably won't be for a few days knowing how busy they are.

Just wanted some thoughts/advice before it gets looked at professionally?

I shot a shotgun with only one ear plug in. Stupidly the ear to the opposite side is apparently more receptive than the one that I had the plug in.

I shot at around 10am.

Hearing was properly muted until around 9pm that night. The ringing subsided after around 48 hours.

Won't be making the same mistake again.
