People like to slag off companies these days, so here's a bit of praise.
My partner sent a 6 month old pair of ASICS trainers back to their UK HQ for inspection. She had used them for 6 days a week on the gym treadmill and the heel padding at the back had worn through giving her a blister.
They are sending her a brand new pair of the latest model.
Can't fault that.
