Diagnose me;

Doing back-levers today - nasty cracking popping noise in my left elbow. It's now very sore, and weak. It's worst/weakest in a hammer-curl position - ie palm in, pushing up.

All I can usefully offer is this... get to a doctor! Could be a number of things, you really ought to get it looked at, and don't try to train through it until it's checked/fixed.

I've not trained in nearly a year now due to an injury in my right elbow. Not so much a cracking noise, i just woke up one day and it hurt. I trained using it for a few weeks and it got worse.

I'm now a year down the line, 2 x-rays, 2 MRI's, a steroid injection and a possible operation for impingement. The thing that feels the worst is that if I had rested it or went to the doc straight away I may have been fine.

Valuable lesson.

Got nowt useful to add but I tried back levers the other day and didn't like the feeling in my shoulders so will leave them alone. GWS!
