St George's hospital Tooting

Anyone familiar with this hospital can give me tips on parking?

Is it pay and display? Is it ample? Will i be better parking on the street? Is that possible?

It's a nightmare, not sure what the parking arrangements are but outside the Hospital is very very limited, will cost a fortune whatever way ,

Give 'im' a nudge on the football forum mostly on the spurs thread, he was in there recently with a sore arm

There is free parking near wimbledon dog track but that would mean a 10-15 minute walk to the Hospital

There's parking in the hospital grounds but unless you get there really early (pre 8am) you'll need to circle the car park a few times waiting for someone to leave. You'll get a ticket to display at the entrance barrier and have to pay before you leave.

I always get a space eventually (no matter what time I get to the hospital) but sometimes it takes 20 minutes of circling with other cars before that happens.

Urgh, great. Thanks for the heads up, we are taking the 5 year old in to get his nuts and crackers examined so might look into borrowing a buggy if walking is an issue after.
