What's your typical diet during the day, including everything you consume, including light snacks, and what is your workout plan like?

Simplest thing to do would be to say if you're not losing any weight or only losing a little weight, decrease your diet a little and/or increase your cardio a little.

Eat good quality food with lots of veg
Cut out all white carbs(bread, potatoes, pasta etc)
Keep well hydrated
Do some exercise

80% of losing weight is your diet, not A diet but your general diet. Lots of fruit/veg, quality meats etc
The rest, do some running, cycling, rowing but try making it soemthing you enjoy so you keep it up as part of your lifestyle and not just a way to get fitter and lose weight.

On January 1st, I swapped drinking lager with drinking gin and slimline tonics.

Ive also swapped my normal lunch at work (sandwich, crisps, yoghurt, apple, banana, choc bar) for a tub of salad.

And thats it.(sort of)

Ive lost 3 stones in weight up to now.!

The downside is that none of my clothes fit me anymore!

So.....

4 weetabix or bowl of special k and cup of tea for breakfast.

Apple and banana for 10:30 snack.

Bowl of chopped lettuce, cherry tomatos, table spoon of cous cous, tablespoon of tomato pasta, chopped cucumber and a chopped up red or green pepper.

A few cups of tea during the day and even a couple of biscuits. (rock and roll)

Normal evening meal, (homemade curry, frozen fish and oven chips, pasta and sauce etc)

And at the weekends we have a takeaway blowout.

Tuna is bland? I find it so ridiculously fishy.

Have a look at the 52 diet - it's not rapid loss, but it's easy to do. You'll need patience though.

I'm down from 20% BF to 17% after a couple of months (targeting 13-15%). Lost a couple of inches on the belly and as a result I've had to add a couple of notches to my belt.

I've lost 1st 2lbs in about 6 weeks by making a couple of small changes.

Breakfast is now a small bowl of special k and a yoghurt instead of a large bowl of the same.
Lunch is some soup and a couple of ryvita and a low fat cheese triangle instead of soup and a sandwich with cheese, ham and mayo.
Dinner is now grilled chicken, fish or steak with a salad and maybe a wrap or a small flatbread instead of grilled chicken, fish or steak with pasta or spuds.

I don't drink through the week, but have a few beers and a takeaway on a weekend.

The first week was hard, as I felt peckish. After that, it seems that I've become accustomed to eating smaller portions. I've still got some ways to go, and I've apparently got to lose the same again to get down to the 'correct' BMI, but so far the results are encouraging smile

Good luck thumbup

I like your style. There is nothing wrong with booze in moderation and well done on 3 stone. Salad for lunch is fine if you can do it but there are so many other great things to try. The key with weight loss is exactly what the chap noted above, eat a lot less carbs from white rice, pasta, bread and pasta. Mixed vegetables and broccoli are excellent sources of carbs. Often overlooked by 99% of dieters, take Omega oils from Salmon and Flaxseed. It's a fact that these fats help one lose fat. Avocado, olives are also great fats.

The hard part is sticking to it so factor in a few cheat meals each week.
