I recently moved home (a month ago) and a few weeks ago I found a new doctors, Filled in some form etc and waited.
Today I called into the surgery to see if I had been accepted.
Receptionist " You don't want your details on the national database we can't continue until you sign this form to say you don't want to be on the database"
Me "I don't want to be on the database thank you, and I've already signed the form to say so"
Receptionist " you have to sign against where you said you don't want etc"
Me "sorry I wont as I have already signed the form thanks"
Receptionist "Our doctors prefer patients sign up to the database"
Should I complain or find another Doctor or are they all asking everyone to be on the spine ?
Sorry but I just don't trust databases.
