Kids "outgrowing their strength"?
Discussion
Fact or fiction?
Junior is just under 10 years old and in the middle of a massive growth spurt right now. He's relatively active, walking/biking, swimming, sports etc. and there's not a scrap of fat on him, but lately it seems that all of his energy is going towards getting tall leaving him relatively weak compared to before and lacking in endurance. This is something he's also noticed and commented upon, not just parental opinion
He's eating well and sleeping at least 10 hours per night, and in a good mood since it's school holiday time.
Anything to be done to help diet or lifestyle-wise? Or just wait and see?

Make sure he gets quality food with plenty of iron and calcium, and let him rest when he needs to.
That's surely got to be the case throughout a kids life! More so in growth spurts I suppose but all the same that's what al parents should be trying to do.Fozziebear said:
