Broken Finger

Ok, one shattered finger (proximal phalanx bone) repaired with 5 screws to pin it back together.

Now, the physio is fecking hurting like mad. Should it hurt this much? And how long should it take to not hurt so much - been three weeks now since the operation and the finger is still very swollen too.

Anyone else had this kind of broken bone and had similar recovery times?

Thanks, saw a surgeon the other week and it wasn't this painful - it's been worse since I got more exercises to do annoyingly.

ETA - and the stitches were taken out when I saw a surgeon too, it's been since that point.
