You've trained, you worked hard and now, when you are low on energy and looking for inspiration, which song will get you over the line?

For me its the classic and cliched "Eye of the tiger", but also "Insomina" will help me find that little bit of extra energy too!

So what's your "motivation" song?

Haha - already got all three of those in my 'running tracks' playlist!

suggestions:

Queen - Don't Stop me Now

Bonnie Tyler - Holding Out for a Hero

Muse - Survival

Kenny Loggins - Highway to the Dangerzone

What do you mean 'last' 4 minutes?

Runs can last longer than 4 minutes?

A little inverse to the OP's question, as I used this at the beginning, rather than the end...

But for motorbike racing, as I put my leathers on in the back of the truck, before heading out to race against a load of other mental axe-murderers, to get me right in the mood - I listened to this on my iPod:

Marylin Manson - The Fight Song

I prefer the sound of my breathing rhythm when I'm running, but if I'm doing lung bursting, leg breaking bike intervals, something like:-

Skrillex - Bangarang
SHM vs Knife Party - Antidote

will always give me a few extra watts!
