Well it seems that after our disappointment a couple of months ago http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
it seems getting back in the saddle really does work!
Wife is 6 weeks pregnant and we are booked in for an early scan today at 11:00.
We are more confident this time as her Hcg levels are massively higher than last time and she has had more pregnancy symptoms.
Hcg level at 6 weeks last time were 1400, this time at 5+2 they were 8623.
Fingers crossed!

Delighted to be adding to this thread we have a little (although from the 20 wk scan he won't be that little) man crashing into our world on the 18th of Jan next year.
It is our first and we are both very excited and also nervous about the lack of control & sleep he is going to bring.

Our little boy is 8 weeks old. They do turn your world upside-down but they are amazing.

Me and my girlfriend are expecting out first on the 4th of March. I'm excited to be a Dad, but seriously stressed after finding out a few weeks ago I'm being made redundant
Congrats hopefully you will get sorted before little one arrives.Currently trying to control the spending!! and get as much from friends and relatives as possible..

We're expecting my first child (gf's second) around the 25th March which is about 1 wk after my birthday, best present I could ask for, went to first scan this afternoon, saw its heartbeat for the first time and it's true what they say, after seeing it on the screen, it suddenly becomes very real. Unfortunately we have to go back to the hospital next week for another scan because due to the position of the baby they were unable to measure it
Add me to the list as well!
Wife and I are expecting our first on the 31st March.
12 week scan was yesterday which couldn't have gone better. I can't believe how much he / she was moving around though. We also had a little wave at one point
By the time it arrives we will have got married, moved house and had a baby all in the space of 12 months. It's going to be a manic year but I'm 40 in February so we weren't planning on hanging around and just pleased we managed to get pregnant so quickly without any problems.

So how are everyones o/h getting on?
We are just through the first trimester which hasnt been too bad (says he who doesn't have to put up with being pregnant )
Wife had some feeling of sickness (but no actual morning sickness), nausea and went right off certain foods (chicken , eggs) and had a few periods of extreme tiredness.
Seems better now but is having trouble sleeping and needs to go to the toiled about 4 times a night.
