have I buggered my knee?
Discussion
Only just happened but when I walk you can hear a deep click? Like to bones are slipping into each other or something. OH says popping noise.
Not painful to walk but very annoying however if I walk with tensed legs it doesn't do it.
Also if I squat and rest my weight on my legs my knee hurts.
Squatting sessions have been fine, spotter says I look like I'm compensating for my knee when coming up but only minute.
OH thinks it's torn cartilage.
Can't get a doctors appointment until next week so I guess a&e is only option

Hopefully nothing serious, but don't put much strain on it until checked out by GP or decent physio.
I thought I'd knackered my wrist attempting front squats using clean grip - pretty decent crack every time I flexed it. Physio I saw at lunchtime said nothing too much wrong; a little manipulation and it's still sore but stopped clicking.
PS. Ignore all advice from PH unless it's to see a professional.

That last bit should be PH's slogan I thought I'd knackered my wrist attempting front squats using clean grip - pretty decent crack every time I flexed it. Physio I saw at lunchtime said nothing too much wrong; a little manipulation and it's still sore but stopped clicking.

To summarise - you think you should go to A+E because your knee clicks?
No asking if anyone knows what I might have done, just missed that bit out. However my local doctors seems to be the only doctors where you can't get same day appointments, they're all for a weeks time so my only option would be a&e which I'm trying to avoid.
I had a similar experience, described here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Saw the doc who sent me for an x ray, which looked ok, he suggested physio, I went to see a chiro who I use (who is actually a bit more knowledgable than anybody I have seen before) she diagnosed that the knee cap had been dislodged (can't remember if it was back or forward) any way she manipulated and suggested there could be a little ligament strain.
Still a little uncomfortable walking but cycling / rowing / leg work in the gym is fine.

Good luck. Hope it's a quick fix.
