Sprained ankle. How long for the swelling to go down?

Localised swelling that is?

I sprained my ankle just over 3 weeks ago, the whole ankle swelled up initially, as you'd expect. This subsided quite quickly, but the localised swelling to the area just in front of the lump that is your ankle is still there.
