I had a Tunturi for years, and very good it was too. At the time I bought it, there weren't any, AKAIK, recumbent exercise bikes. Anyway, time for a new machine and looking at the Tunturi range on Amazon, I note that most of them are of the recumbent design.

I've not tried one before, and don't have easy access to somewhere where I could try one out, so naturally I am asking here for opinions on whether or not this is the way to go.

Recumbent means you can more easily hold a book, watch a TV or play with an iPad... which means you're more likely to use it more often than an upright one.
