Saturday night i went around a friends flat in Bristol for a few drinks.
We were all sat around talking earlyish in the night when the girl next to me went to change the song.
As she went to sit back down (being the immature knob that i am) i pushed her chair back by half a foot. She was still more than able to sit enough of her ass on the chair.
Cue some laughing which was soon over and my immature burst was soon forgotten about.

The night continued. Dancing etc during which time the girl seemed fine; she was (after me) was the next most lively person in the room.
The next day we all went down into town for a full English, before heading home.
I was driving.

We got back home at about 1pm Sunday.
Still the girl seemed fine. No mention of a bad back.
This evening ive just heard from her that she has a bad back, and blames me.

Im feeling incredibly guilty. Even though im reasonably sure it wasnt me that caused it.
How likely is it that i caused the injury?

She has had time to have a word with some accident compensation "specialists"....?

Next time don't be so silly.

(There is always the chance she may genuinely have a sore back, grovel and apologise and hope that's the end of it)

As she hadn't actually fallen, I seriously doubt she's injured at all..... I suspect she's getting her revenge on you.

Always be careful moving chairs - I have a serious back injury (just recovering) and that would not be helped by falling on my ass! smile

I've no doubt got a reduced sense of fun, but really serious injuries can be caused like this.

Don't do it again! wink

I certainly prefer this outcome. Its very unlikely though.
