So i got down to 12 4. Weight feels good, bit of mass but not too heavy. Just smaller portions, less snacking. Now my body has sniffed winter on the way i've rolled up to 12 7 and haven't changed anything.

Just me?

You might actually be eating more. Are you logging your calorie intake precisely? Also you might be going out for walks or playing sports less due to the colder weather? (I say colder weather, I played tennis outside for over 3 hours yesterday and was sweating like an etc.)

I'm really consciously trying to eat the same amount, so not sure. I know we're kind of programmed to eat more when we detect the cold coming in but i've been really fussy about it.

Bit baffled tbh.

3lbs is nothing - bit of water retention from salt and not doing a crap on time and you're there

My weight fluctuates by 1-3 pounds every day

That's what I mean - you're probably eating more and moving less because of the weather.

Mine can go up and down by 4kg most days, all depends on exercise, fluids and if I have a big poop.

I'm unable to exercise (due to a leg injury) so I'm expecting mine to creep up this winter. Doubt it'll do much for my strength either.

Can you do something like tai chi or yoga? It might not burn as much as a marathon run but you can still burn up to 300 kcals an hour!

Can you do them without standing up and with a leg in the air? I have a non-weight bearing fracture so I can't use my leg at all, kinda limits things. Managed a few pull ups and knee press ups the other day mind.

That bad? Guess you'll have to do the seated stuff...

... which probably burns 1 calorie a day. biggrin

TBH stuff like push ups, dips and pull ups aren't a bad shout even with a missing leg. When you can't do full pull ups, crack out a dozen supported with the good leg.

Yep, beast! I run everyday 10+ miles, I normally drop 2kg in water on that run. I then do load carrying pt, logs, kettlebells, so more water loss. I do hydrate, but I also sweat like a freak! I follow a fasting diet, stop eating at 2000, resume at 1400. My weight can wildly vary on my appetite and if I'm at an event.
