I have found out that I have this due to my job, and now has started to travel up to my forearms.
Wrists have hurt for a while so I just thought this was due to the pressure I bestow on them.
This was them followed by numbness in hands ,which I had to see the docs about, he suggested I change my job as this will never get better working in it.

Has anyone had this and what life style did you opt for afterwards?

I have had this for over 10years, but last year it got considerably worse so I went back to my GP as the splints were not doing any good. Just over 5 weeks ago I had decompression surgery on my left hand and have had no symptoms since. I now cannot wait til Feb when I am due to have surgery on my right hand.

Changing jobs was not an option for me, and my job certainly exaserbates the condition, but tbh it is driving that really causes me the most problems.

I will bump another thread about CTS for you.

A mate suffered with this for too long to had a simple procedure done. In fact it was so simple and easy he asked the doc if he could take pics of the operation in progress:-

He's never looked back.

Where there's blame there's a claim... wink

Not sure if success rates have improved, but I know several people who had surgery and made it worse.

Speak to the GP, get a referral and understand the risks.
