How much to fix a double-hernia, privately?

I was looking forward to starting some light-medium weight training, when I’ve been diagnosed with a double hernia. Very frustrating. I won’t be seeing my GP for another 6 days, so I’m asking here first.

You can ring bupa for an accurate self pay price. But I'd expect ball park £2500.

If you've not seen your GP who's doing the diagnosing?

Depends where you are, but my hernia repair was in a private clinic on the NHS. The same surgeon did my operation on the Friday but the same thing Mondays and Wednesdays privately.
