I've been prescribed this for the last few months due to a dodgy knee issue, it works really well in terms if taking the pain away and reducing inflammation and I only take them when I really have to but my god the side effects are challenging!

Is it normal to literally feel like a smack head when they kick in? I've never felt as spaced out or as tired and not myself, proper Jekyll and hide!

Any experience from anybody else and are there any alternatives to try?

None that I can remember; gout pain can send you into flipmode so even jacking up on class A substances might have gone unnoticed too.

I decided to kick the whole prescribed drugs things into touch TBH. All GPs want to do is up your dose when your body starts getting used to the meds.

Also given it for gout and for my herniated discs as a supposedly safer substitute for the far more effective, for me, Diclofenac Sodium.

No side effects except maybe a hint of (anticipated) stomach pain if having too much too soon. Can't recall if, like Diclofenac, it gave me mouth ulcers too. But no weirdness!

Also got this to reduce inflammation due to gout. Hard to tell of side effects as the pain of gout overwhelms everything, but it plays havoc with your stomach lining and if taking plenty makes you feel crap with an upset stomach to boot.
