Urgent '2 week' appointments
Discussion
Evening all,
Earlier this week my lovely lady doc spotted something while I was having a checkup (for something completely different) and I'm being referred to a skin specialist place.
Apparently as it's to rule out something being nasty, I automatically fall into the 'health dept says I must be seen within 2 weeks maybe cancer' box.
Have many other PHers been referred as 'urgent' in a similar way, I'm hoping they hand referrals out like smarties!!!!!!!

I had it a few months back.
Went to see nurse for vitamin injection-she spotted what she thought was a suspicious dark mole on my arm.
Appointment with skin clinic a couple of days later.
They said best remove it and send off for testing.
I asked 'will I make an appointment to get that done?'
'No need you're here now so we will just cut it out right now'
Press something similar to an automatic centre punch in my arm, twist it and mole was gone.
Nervous few days waiting for results.
