If I have a busy period at work , it's guaranteed that the back of my knee will hurt , with a constant pain, enough to keep me from sleeping at night. This week it's been very busy in work , and I had the pain yesterday , but when I crouched down the pain shot down to my calf muscle instantly, fairly severe pain, but alright to walk on , just a constant pain , later it was back up behind the knee, and then a few hours later I crouched down again and the pain shot down to my calf again. Could it possibly be a nerve problem ?

is your calf swollen - measure around it and compare with the other leg.
do painkillers help?

there could be a few possibles but if the answer to the above is yes, then you would be well advised to get to A&E to rule out a DVT
