Back pain after a compression injury?
Discussion
I'm hoping someone might be able to offer some advice or reassurance on this one as getting an appointment with the local GP is a complete nightmare.
About 3 week's ago i did something a bit stupid and jumped up while something was directly above my head. As this was on a night out i didn't really notice or pay much attention to what i'd done and it wasn't until the morning i noticed i had a large blood blister style mark on the top of my head and a bit of a backache.
3 Weeks on and my back in still giving me mild discomfort. It's not really painful, maybe a bit of an ache but it becomes a lot more noticeable when i lift something. I think i've probably compressed one of the disc's in my back but i have no idea if this will resolve it's self or if i'm stuck with it? Or if i should take any action to help it? Obviously avoiding lifting having discovered it hurts....
Any advice appreciated, i'll be trying to get an appointment with the GP but i have to go through some process to get an online account first and there is usually around a 4 week waiting list anyway.
Thanks,
