Fitness programme for 4-5 weeks?
Discussion
Hi all,
Basically on the 2 Feb I'm going away skiing, basically a week of off piste with a guide so physically demanding, with walking and skinning up required. Due to several reasons I'm about 2 months behind where I wanted to be with my fitness programme.
Base level of fitness is OK got back to it towards the end of last week, running 10k at a reasonable pace without falling in a heap.
A month isn't allot but what in your opinion would be the best programme over the next few weeks to gain max fitness? I

Thanks for the replies. Hoofy I've heard of some of them, will need to check online for examples of good form etc.
Allot of pros train run downhill rather than up, either with a rucksack filled with weights or a wheel barrow! Going downhill hits more of the right muscles than up.
I'm a decent level so technique whilst actually skiing will cover up a lack of fitness, it more for hiking and skiing up hill in heavy ski boots with a load of gear on my back.
