Rather painful leg pain

I have woken up with this horrible pain between my femur and hip joint towards the left of the groin area. When I walk it is reallyyyyyy killing me and it keeps clicking but when sitting it is fine.
Any idea?....

Hard to say from your description where you mean, but sounds like it could be iliopsoas bursitis.

Not overly. Perhaps it was from mountain biking but I went on Saturday...not sure. If it carries on I'll get it checked out.

You might have put to much pressure on your legs with your mountan biking.

Give it a rest.
