Sudden loss of appetite
Discussion
On Friday, the car was quite icy and I overstretched while clearing the screen. Had a slight twinge in my rib cage area which by the time I got to work, developed into a substantial pain in my diaphragm area.
I took a paracetamol and gave my torso a good stretch (arms above the head and pulling the rib cage upwards) and over the course of an hour - the pain subsided and by dinner time had completely gone.
During the day, I continued eating as normal but noticed that I was eating according to the clock and not my appetite. I wasn't getting any feeling of hunger and once finished eating, didn't feel full either.
To test my hunger, on Saturday, I decided to only eat when I felt hungry. I went the full day just drinking water and had two cups of tea.
On Sunday, I still didn't feel hungry but my stomach did a few rumbles which I figured was a good thing. I still hadn't felt hungry but by the evening, I ate something anyway as I know the body still needs nourishment.
Woke up this morning and I still feel full from yesterdays meal. I still have no desire to eat anything.
Any idea what's going on?
