Costochondritis

Lying in bed with this dreaded thing. I've it lightly for a week now but it got worse over the last few days leading to me being unable to breathe. I can't cough, laugh or take deep breaths at all and it's become really annoying.

500mg Naproxen and 100mg tramadol twice a day for me to take. Nice.

So, anyone else had it?

Ive had this recently, not pleasant, infact ive had it a few times over the years now, usually bought on by being a fat bd, i find fasting for a few days and generally stopping eating crap clears it quicker than any drugs ive been prescribed. Are you overweight?

Nope. Quite healthy and only have a little belly fat. I'm 6 ft with a 34 inch waist so would say I'm average.

My diet isn't the best but I don't know how the two relate in that respect.

Seems very peculiar as although I'm back on my feet again, I'm having to take much more care as I really don't want that pain again.
