I've got man flu, again, second time this year. Last night was cough cough cough, had 3 hours sleep then sat in a chair for the rest of the night. I don't want that again, so I've bought some night nurse, but it says do not take with alcohol! I thought a glass or two would help me passout sleep.

Whisky and night nurse certainly knocks me out. Which is good if I have a stinker.

you should never mix any alcohol with night nurse. IIRC even the fumes from alcohol in the room can cause imminent danger. The makers of Night nurse I think recommend no alcohol in the house at all.
Put it all in a box, I will take it away for your own benefit and health.
NO fee .

Mate of mine used to have quite a few at the pub, bring a kebab back to my flat and then ask for Night Nurse as he enjoyed the effects whilst getting across London on a night bus biggrin

We used to do Benilyn Shandies as teenagers.

Drink the neck from a bottle of buckfast, mix in a bottle of drowsy Benilyn cough mixture, shake and drink the lot.

Come back and post after that please biggrin

Benilyn did used to be pretty powerful - I necked a bottle at 15 and was pretty ruined on it. Couldn't stay awake and terrified my gf's mum who actually wanted to touch me.

Thanks all, it's been emotional.
