Orange stripes on my eyelids?
Discussion
A bit of an odd one this, snd no I don't wear makeup, or use sunbeds. Recently I've developed a thin ( say 2mm wide ) strip of yellow/orange over first my left eyelid then my right eyelid. I feel fine otherwise, but surely my eyelids haven't decided to go an odd colour for no reason? Any ideas? Anyone else had this?

It could be xanthalasma, which is essentially a deposit of fat plaques within the eyelids, most often towards the nose side. They can be related to having high cholesterol so perhaps go to your GP and get it checked.
High cholesterol you say? As a 40 year old with a life long penchant for bacon butties, pies, and of course chips..... I think that's fairly unlikley. Drs Appt booked just incase.

Give up bacon? There must be a surgical alternative that's less dramatic?
