Some smugness coming...

2 Years ago I weighed 19 stone (and it was 19 stone of pure fat) despite the fact I am 6'5'' I was still technically obese. I couldn't run for more than 3 minutes without stopping, couldn't swim more than two lengths front crawl, drank enough wine to make Oliver Read blush, had high blood pressure and looked like st.

As of this morning I weigh 16 stone, but my BF has gone down loads and I have put on some muscle as well. I can now run 8 miles, can run a 5K in 27 mins. I can swim over 1.5K in one go and can swim 400m in 6:20. I can cycle over 60 miles in one go. I haven't had booze in 5.5 months and doubt I ever will again. My BP is now 116/78. I actually look my age now and not 10 years older.

I have done 3 sprint Triathlons, doing an Olympic next month and now thinking of doing something mad like an Ironman next year.

Anyway, cool story bro and all that, but I look back now and can't believe I ever let myself get in that state. Hopefully I have undone the damage enough.

Still want to loose a bit more weight. If I can be 15 stone by the end of the year that would be good

Look around you and you will see that many people get themselves in that state. Few have the will power to turn it around.

Well done thumbup

This time last year I was 18st 3, I'm now 16 stone. I'm 6 ft 2.
Go to gym every day, and try to eat better.

Not bad, still a way to go.

I used to drink with a guy who was 5'2" and weighed 29 stone. That wasn't impressive.

Now that's progress, not content with just losing weight but actually building a great level of fitness as well.
