Aside from pills, is there anything to help with a cold?
Discussion
I'm just trying to get any experiences from any readers, on anything that can make a nasty cold more bearable to live with.
I have the usual symptoms. Headache, horrible cough, running nose, feeling sick, sore throat and feeling tired.
Obviously I'm dealing with it but this one is on par with the flu and I've had that twice before.
Thankyou

Being a nurse doesn't give you experience with colds.
I work on a ward that is deals with pre and post operative gastric and vascular surgery. Not colds.
I've tried Beechams and it has little effect, though some is better than none. Thank you for the input
funny Nursing degree / diploma if you didn;t cover at least the basics of the anatomy of the airway and why colds bung you up and how to treat these signs / symptoms ... I work on a ward that is deals with pre and post operative gastric and vascular surgery. Not colds.
