Can anyone recommend a good solid air purifier?

I suffer quite badly with allergies and it has got to a point where it is disrupting my life quite a bit. I had an operation earlier this year which I had hoped would help alleviate some of the problems but it hasn't unfortunately.

Back in May I jumped the gun a little on got this purifier but didn't realise how it worked. It does work but not it the way I want. I need a purifier that circulates the air rather than making the particles heavy and landing on the furniture and bed etc. which kind of defeats the purpose I bought it for.

At the moment I'm looking at getting this purifier but since I haven't had much luck in finding a solution I was wondering if anyone here has found one that is proven to work for them?
