Evening

I try and make working out as "fun" as possible because I get bored quickly.

Any tried the above? Looks a lot harder than you think!

Have done this several times as the army loves a themed workout! It's a lot harder than you think, it's 30 odd press ups in about 3 minutes but it's the amount of time you are held in the down position!

Other ones we do is the chris brown show me leg raise, lying on your back with legs straight out and heels approx 6 inches off the ground, every time the song says show me, legs are raised to the vertical and back down to start position

There is another one with a pitbull song where you have to do a squat every time a line is sung but I can't remember which song it is!

Did the Bring Sally Up challenge a while ago and got something like 1'40". Did it for pull ups and got about 1'15.

Might try that. What's the track? Hope it's on Spotify.

Did this tonight at the gym. Managed 1.23 then had 30 sec rest, then 1.04 then 45 sec rest then finished the last 50 seconds. Will try it with chin ups tomorrow. Quite fun, makes a nice change.

Tried the press up challenge today.
As a pretty unfit 52 yr old who's only exercise is 20 minutes on the rowing machine 3 times a week I managed 1 minute 10 seconds.I intend to do it on my non rowing days and see if I can build up the time.
Let's see if I've improved much in a month or so

Got up to 1 min 40 secs after 2 weeks but that's it now, can't do any longer.
Looks like I'm in need of some strength training smile

It's a lot harder than it looks on youtube

I think it's about endurance more than just strength.
