Headache when I stand up

I had a nasty bout of Gastroenteritis which cleared up last week which has left me feeling a bit flat, the latest joy is standing up and getting a splitting headache for a few seconds, ditto bending over.

What is that about ? was thinking it was blood pressure related, was 140/79 when I just took it which is what it usually is around.

Could I still be dehydrated ? pee looks normal, been drinking plenty.

I have no medical expertise whatsoever but I would say you are still suffering the last bit of your infection, keep fluids up like youre doing and I reckon it will pass.

(hope thats right anyway since Im having exactly the same thing!)

Oh right, does sound like it if you are having the same, its bloody awful, I jumped up when the door went and it was one of my wifes numerous Christmas deliveries, driver must have thought I was mental as I open the door and then it starts and I end up clutching my head

Sounds the same!, Ive taken to getting up like an old man for now, few days and it will be sorted I expect
