200 kilo shoulder press! Haha.
I'm not so bad in the gym, but that is ridiculous.

It's amazing how he just presses it through the hardest part!

I've pressed 100kg, for one rep, and it looked horrendous. The idea of double that is mind blowing.

He almost makes it look easy! Damn good form too, all the way down.

I remember seeing a bloke doing something similar at a local gym years back. Took us a few attempts to count up the weight - absolutely insane to see someone doing that sort of work.

On most regular leg press machines I tend to complain about a lack of weight ... but machines do tend to be easy. Even at my best I could only dead lift about 200kg. The dedication, diet, training and insanity required for that level of strength is beyond ridiculous.

This impressive deadlift set was on the box a few days ago.

Everyone else had 'suits' on.

Eddie is the first Brit I've seen in the WSM stuff for a good while whom I think could claim the WSM trophy in a few years. His pressing is as impressive as his pull strength.

Anyone watching WSM on the TV at the moment?

When did they get a rope in front of them to pull against on the truck pull?

Yes.

AFAIK they've always had it.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't - kind of differnt event depending.

I think Ed Hall has a great chance of winning WSM in a few years, but he comes across as a bit of a nob.

Mark felix is past his best.

Lawrence Shalaei is very very good at carrying, and deadlifts/squats well but I think he's ket down by his OH stuff. Comes across as a proper top bloke though, and gets my support.

Lloyd Reynolds doesn't cut it with the top guys, but might get there in the future and again, seems like a top bloke. Likewise Chris Gearing.

I've never really rated Graham Hicks but he has performed well this year, and seems to have put on some weight.

Terry Hollands I just can't get behind. He seems to throw his toys out the pram if things don't go his way, and is probably past his best now anyway.

Suppose the question just now is, will he be as strong as Hafthor? who just seems to be getting better and better

He was so good in the semi-final last night, wasn't he? Excels, IMO, because he has speed as well as strength. So many of the others are strong but slow.

His heat is on Channel 5 at 8 tonight if you haven't seen it. Strong, strong dude and a big career ahead of him if he stays injury free.

Terry Hollands continues to get stronger and the competitors appear to be getting older every year.
