Anyone else have Laryngospasm?

I've just been diagnosed with it, it's bl00dy scary not being able to breathe.

Is that when you suddenly get a squeezing sensation in the front lower neck/top of chest that cuts your breathing for a second?

I got this a bit last year after a few bouts of coughs/colds. Dunno if it's what you're talking about but it's bit disconcerting!

Coughing and sneezing can cause mine, I also wake up in the night not able to breathe. Now I know what it is I can control it, but it's not very nice.

If you Google it or put it in Youtube there is some good information about it.
