Elecric shavers

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but here goes- I've had an electric shaver for years but not used because of irritation. Lately I've been giving it another go. The irritation is much reduced by using balm and the shave is ok on the cheeks but not under the chin and around the neck. It's a twin head Philishave. Has anybody got any suggestions for a better more modern design. Not megabucks. The price range is huge.

I use a Braun series 7 - most expensive when they do with the auto cleaning docking station....... and worth every penny!

My crazy expensive DE shaver never gets used.

double edge saftey razor....theres a gigantic thread in PH on them with people seemingly in love with their badger brush.

anyway, my braun is as close as i need, irritation free and quick

I have a Braun Series 3 for daily use. Wet or dry, though I normally use it dry. Love it.

The last time I picked up my super sharp German DE razor I'd forgotten I had left a blade in it and sliced the end off my thumb. FML.

I've got one, seems to list forever on one charge, cheap robust and very good!

I use it to trim down to close stubble most of the time, and wet shave only when required.

Dropped it in the sink half a dozen times, hasn't died yet.

I've been using it since before Christmas and it's been surprisingly good. I use it every day and have to charge it after roughly ten days.
