Foliculitus woes

Hello, has anyone had experience with dealing with this condition. I've suffered with it on the back of my scalp for the past 10 years or so, on and off and usually controllable with antibiotics. However the past 12 months it seems to be getting worse and now I'm down to the last line of antibiotics defence, according to the dermatologist. Has anyone had any experience or success with other forms of treatment? Any help/advice appreciated. Thanks!
