"...there's a chance it's a brain tumor"

Those were the words my doctor said to me last week.
I've had 9 months of tingling in the right side of my head, slowly getting worse, a couple of minor headaches as well.
I thought it may have been a wisdom tooth so had that out 6 months back. Had my eyes tested, and no issue there.
8 years ago I had melanoma cancer but was given the all clear however you never know....
So Tuesday I'm off for a MRI and then a referral to a neurologist.
Fingers crossed it's just a pinched nerve.
Fair to same I'm feeling pretty average about the whole thing.

I've just finished reading 'do no harm' by Henry Marsh and I really hope everything works out for you.
We clearly have some of the best, world-leading surgeons in this country so if you've caught it early enough there's probably a good chance of getting it sorted even if the worst is confirmed.

You'll be fine, you are in good hands with the NHS.Okay, had the MRI today, collared the operator on the way out to see if he could see anything. Nothing abnormal according to him however he did say a Radiographer (?) goes through in more detail and does the report, which is due in 48 hours.
I'm feeling more confident now and thinking perhaps it's a trapped nerve or muscular issue...
Sadly I'm in Australia so no NHS for me however by chance a friend knows an excellent Neurologist so have an appointment there on the 23rd.
Regardless I'll be opening the Radiographer's report prior though.
