What ho chaps.
I'm 54 years old and have smoked since I was 18 - 19 ish.
I've had a bit of an "issue", rather unexpected to me, but of course I smoke, and these days anything from an ingrowing toenail upwards seems to be caused by smoking.
I had been feeling unwell for a fewish days, bit short of breath, then I woke up in the early hours one morning, very very short of breath. Long story short, paramedics, hospital, lots of tests, all heart stuff has come back good, all lung stuff has so far come back good, more stuff to do though, so up until now no "cause" has been found.
It has been a couple of weeks now, tests are still ongoing, and I'm feeling a little better, but am still very short of breath in the mornings for whatever reason.
Even a die hard smoking person like myself knows this has to have some connection to my smoking, so even though I really don't want to stop, I feel I should have a go.
I've got one of those electronic things that look like your sucking a pen rather than a fake ciggy, I tried the different liquids the shop had, I settled on the cherry flavour and the "18" strength (they came in 24,18,12, & 6 whatevers).
So, what are the opinions on these things ?
